I've noticed that food photography always looks way yummier against a dark background so I got a black tablecloth for our dining table.
The #WeWantPlates people might not like it but I gave the tablecloth a chalkboard inspired makeover to match our kitchen and now setting the table is so quick and easy.
It was perfect timing to finish the tablecloth as Mum & Dad were coming over for dinner and I was making summer rolls and attempting to make oishii buns.
The steamed buns took a little while to make but they tasted amazing. I filled them with teriyaki mushrooms and Quorn pork fillets.
I also made a side of spicy chili pepper noodles using Trotter's Hot Pepper Jelly.
