I finally got the chance to work on my crafty Lego project today which was a frame for my computer screen. We've slowly been giving CO+K HQ a crafty new look and our screens were starting to look a bit ugly, so it was time to give them a makeover.
It's fun being able to clip and off bricks whenever and wherever I want and I upgraded the monitors buttons to Lego buttons. I really want to link the pizza button up to a takeaway website.
Lego Cat has also been coming in really handy by holding by camera cable, which I was forever losing down the back of my desk.
I was so excited to see that Lego looked at the frame and thought it was awesome!
We met up with Katie & Phil in the evening and went for dinner at Bentoya. They've just got the keys to a new shop their opening right next to our house, so I can't wait to see a lot more of them.
We tried a couple of new dishes this time including sashimi and salt & pepper soft shell crab which were both delicious.
When I was at primary school, Mum used to pick me up for lunch and take me for cakes at Stuarts bakery so I was really excited when I discovered a Stuarts hidden at the back of a supermarket near our house. They still had of my old favourites including froggy cakes, fudge donuts and vanilla slices and I don't think the prices have changed in almost two decades either.
