After waking up early and tucking in the breakfast at our B&B, we were excited to get on the road and explore the rest of Skye.
We spotted a highland cow with her calf alongside the road and stopped off to see them. The baby was so cute but looked a little grumpy. Rin thanked them for the bottle of chocolate milk he was drinking.
Our first stop of the day was the Fairy Pools which Jenny and I had both pinned on Pinterest and couldn't wait to visit.
The path was super muddy in places and we had to jump across the rock pools. One of my legs sunk in to the marshy ground and I was so grateful I'd worn my waterproof boots.
Jenny had her own tactics for tackling the difficult stepping stones.
The pools were worth the treacherous walk though and were just as pretty as they looked on Pinterest.

We stopped for lunch at The Oyster Shack which was literally just a shack selling fresh seafood.
The prices were so cheap and we couldn't believe how amazing the food looked. I shared mussels and a seafood platter with Tom while Rin tucked in to lobster and Kylie swallowed 24 oysters.
Jenny wasn't too impressed with the taste of the oysters but Kylie loved them.
