When everyone started to get hungry, we stopped at Bonnie Braes for lunch which was an interesting cafe with thistle designs on the tables, toilets which sounded like they were haunted and deep fried mars bars.
Kylie was excited to have her first Irn Bru of the trip and sounded like she was asking for a bottle of fine wine when ordering it.
Our next stop was Eilean Donan, the castle which was featured in the movie Highlander.
There was a wedding taking place and no-one around to sell tickets, so we were able to sneak across the bridge to the castle without paying.
When we got back to our car, it was surrounded by tourists taking photos of it and peeking inside, which was something we were going to have to get used to for the rest of the trip.
It was then time to head across the bridge to the Isle Of Skye. Tom and I had both visited the island when we were little but couldn't remember anything about it. It was also the day that Princess Diana died when we visited, so everything was closed.
A lot of the roads became single track on the island with sheep everywhere, so we had to be careful not to bump into any of them.
