It was then time to head back to Pearl Harbour in time for our tour of the USS Arizona Memorial.
The navy drove us across the harbour to the memorial, which is built on top of the sunken USS Arizona battleship.
The ship was blown up and sunk during the Pearl Harbour attack in 1943, taking 1177 officers down with it.
They refer to the memorial as a "living cemetery" and some officers who survived the attack have asked to be buried alongside their crew when they pass away.
The ship still leaks oil after 60 years and you could see it floating in the waves.
