We stopped off at Chugach National Forest to see some glaciers.
There's a cruise that you could take out to one of the glacier but the fog was so thick that you wouldn't have been able to see anything.
We decided to save money by hiking up to Byron glacier instead. It was a pretty walk but I was a little terrifyed we'd meet a bear or a wolf.
It was awesome to stand on the glacier - this is what I imagined Alaska would be like.
We then stopped off at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre in Kenai.
These bear cubs had been abandoned by their mothers and were not able to live in the wild, so the sanctuary took them in.
We were just in time to see the bears being fed. The local hunters donate the meat they don't need for the animals.
Tom loved the bears so much!
