Today we went on an adventure to Oxford, we jumped on a train at Paddington and arrived nice and early.
Oxford which felt a lot like St. Andrews and there were groups of Italian school children everywhere!
We walked down the high street, which had the same shops as any other high street but the buildings were all fancy and old.
We went for a wander around the university, which had lots of lovely cobbled streets.
We sat next to the canal for a while and watched the rowers practicing.
There was also an Alice in Wonderland shop filled with all things Alice. I was tempted by a pocket watch but just ended up getting Miquette Breitenbach a rubber for her collection.
We went for a drink in the Half Moon where we found a huge pile of the Ocelot Mag.
It turns out that Norman Tallman wasn’t lying about having a magazine in Oxford and he’s not lying about having a fiance in Canada either.
We then went for a walk along the canal. On the way we saw a man jump over a wall while being chased by the police.
The baby ducks were really friendly and came out of the water to see us.
There were also cats living on the canal boats, which they didn’t seem too happy about.
There was an awesome tree stump seat covered in bottle caps.
Tom hates the Oxford Tube for being a lie.
