The Edinburgh Chihuahua Cafe opened just after we left the city and I couldn't wait to check it out.
It was very pink inside and a lot more relaxed than any of the cat cafes I'd been to.
There were comfy sofas around the room, and after taking a seat, you were handed a fluffy pink blanket followed by a chihuahua.
Hepburn was the first puppy we were handed with a sparkly collar and fluffy fur.
Elsa was the second puppy and immediately fell asleep on my Mum's knee for the rest of our visit. Mum thought she had the same expression on her face as my Dad when he's tired.
From chihuahuas to cats, we made our way to the Grassmarket to meet up with Katie for a session at Maison de Moggy.
The cats had just had their lunch so it was catnap time when we arrived and there were sleeping balls of fluff curled up everywhere.
The cats perked up when the coffees and cakes arrived. I had a hot chocolate dusted with a cocoa paw.
Sebastian was floating above everyone on his catwalk looking like a fluffy white cloud.
Elodie, the sphynx, was the star attraction when she emerged from her cat bed. Her skin was so velvety.
She looked so funny when sat next to this super furry fluff ball.
Katie wanted to steal the sleepy ginger kitty for Phil as a birthday present.
Pauline was the first cat I met when Maison de Moggy first opened. She was a tiny kitten then with huge paws but today's she's a giant fluffy Maine Coon.
We headed to the museum afterwards where I got to shout at some kids for spitting on people below from the balcony.
There w asa giant blackhole made from balloons spiralling from the ceiling in the main hall.
We took a look around the fashion exhibition next, where I was excited to see a few pieces by Vivienne Westwood.
I loved this vintage dress. It reminded us of the type that LindyBop make.
We went for dinner at the new location of Bodega at Tollcross.
Mum and I ordered margaritas made with pomegranate and balsamic vinegar which were delicious.
We started with scallion fries and spiced potatoes.
We then ordered lots of tacos to tuck into including the avocado tempura, tempura tiger prawn and baja cod bites. The avocado were my favourite!
