We started off with a feast at Pizza East because Jenny has a special keyring which gets her 50% off food and drink!
We ordered lots of food to share including the anchovy pizza, black truffle pizza, mac n cheese, broccoli with chilli & almonds and calamari, prawns and courgette fritti.
Even the cocktails were half price, so I tried the Elderflower Bicicletta and then the Aperol Spritz.
We then headed back to our place for cake and bubbles.
Rin loves hippos, so I'd been inspired to bake him a Happy Hippo cake but then felt a little guilty for making him eat his favourite animal.
Jenny had read that Shochu Lounge had been covered in cherry blossoms for the sakura season, so we headed into town to check it out.
It looked so pretty and we sipped on cherry blossom martinis while admiring the flowers.
Jenny pointed out the wall of shochu bottles which people can buy and then come and drink whenever they like.
We had a table booked for dinner in Kingly Court but had an hour to wait, so Tom ran to Cahoots which has become his new favourite bar.
Luckily there wasn't a wait and we were seating in the tube train down in the bar.
Our cocktails were served in a thermos with little tea cups garnished with candied fruit and wafers.
