Izzy & Paul are down in London to visit so we decided to take them on a beer crawl along the Bermondsey Beer Mile.
Our first stop was the Southwark Brewing Company for some half pints of beer.
We then wandered next door to The Barrel Project.
It was a super cosy distillery with candle-lit tables and barrels covered in fairy lights.
We stopped off to pet a dog who was waiting for his owner to buy a Christmas tree.
Our next stop was The Other Room, a cosy little beer bar that we'd driven past lots of times and looked interesting.
We were getting hungry so we tucked into dirty fries and popcorn.
We then went to 214 Bermondsey, a cosy underground cocktail and gin bar.
Izzy & I ordered Charlie Chaplin cocktails with sloe gin, Edinburgh Raspberry liqueur, apricot, lime & homemade grenadine.
I then had a Breakfast Gintini with Larios 12, homemade marmalade, lemon, elderflower, egg white and bitters.
I giggled at this sign giving directions to the toilets.
Our final stop of the night was a Tiki bar called Nine Lives.
I had an Alright Blossom cocktail with raspberry, hibiscus, rose and prosecco. It was fruity, floral and delicious.
Back at our place, the cocktails continued accompanied by Drunken Cheese we had picked up earlier in Borough Market. I invented a pearlescent new drink with violet liqueur and Unicorn Tears gin.
