After waking up in Fukuoka, we decided to head out for breakfast at Canal City, a crazy looking mall Tom had spotted on Pinterest.
There wasn't a lot open when we arrived but this adorable robot was wandering around, so we stopped to take a photo. Afterward it took a photo of us!
We stopped for breakfast at St-Marc Cafe where we had Vietnamese coffee and a hard pastry topped with frozen cream and berries. I have no idea what the thing was, but as most of our meals had involved rice up until now, it made a nice change.
Every half an hour, there's a giant fountain display in the middle of the mall and we were just in time to catch the first one of the day.
It was almost time to catch our train but not before stopping off at the Moomin Cafe to pick up some bubble tea. If you come to the cafe on your own, you get to sit at a table with a big cuddly Moomin.
Tom got a sour apple bubble tea which listed vinegar as an ingredient while I had a yummy coconut milk tea.

Jenny had made us all reservations for dinner at the Robot Restaurant and from the gigantic robot girls outside and band dressed like Daft Punk, we knew we were going to have a crazy time.
Before we went in, we were served drinks in a lounge with the craziest decor, a band and animatronic dinosaurs on the tables.
We then headed downstairs in a crazy mirrored lift and were given tasty bento boxes as the show began.
There were fighting robots, drumming bunnies, pole dancers and even a mermaid riding a shark while it ate a robot. It was so crazy and we loved it.

After the show, we headed in to the Golden Gia, a small district filled with hundreds of tiny bars. There's only enough room for about 8 people in each bar and they all have different themes and personalities.
Our first stop was a rock bar which was playing Guns N Roses. We all managed to squeeze up at the bar and single handedly managed to fill the whole place.
We then stopped in to a was horror themed bar which was filled with gory props, horror posters and movie memorabilia.
