Today was the start of London Fashion Week, so we headed to Somerset House to pick up our passes.
This year's MULBERRY bag was inspired by Where The Wild Things Are and had a big gold furry monster printed on one side.
Our second stop was the press lounge, which had been moved inside Somerset House this year rather than the courtyard tent. I always forget how lovely the building is.
The press room was a little more spacious this year but even more busy. We made our hair and make-up appointments with Toni & Guy and Mac and then tucked in to the complimentary pastries and granola for breakfast.
We then took a short sneak peek at the exhibition.
There was an amazing top made out of tiny paper cranes in the Belgium Showroom.
There were some gorgeous hats in the Hedonism showcase, including a cat mask that Catwoman would have loved.
It was then time to get in line for the first show of the season. 90% of fashion week is dedicated to queuing and people watching.
We spotted a girl in an awesome Spice Girls leather jacket.
Our first show was Corrie Nielsen, who's Autumn/Winter collection is inspired by Scotland with lots of tartan, feathers and extravagant headpieces.
A fashion blogger squealed "I want to be Scottish now" at the end of the show.
I always love seeing Hilary run around. She always looks so busy.
We enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne after the show in Tom's Deli.
I loved the toy soldier print wallpaper.
It was then time for my hair cut at Toni & Guy. Today's team had been shipped in from Southend On Sea and my guy knew exactly what I was after.
We then attended the Zoe Jordan show which featured chunky knitwear, flat-brim hats and leather jackets.
Only after taking our seats did we realise the connection between Zoe and Eddie Jordan, who we'd seen rushing around before the show.
Holly Valance was also there which made us miss the good old days of Neighbours.
Next season I want one of the Vogue Mini's to drive us between shows.
It was then time for my appointment at MAC Cosmetics where they gave me a striking cat eye.
I got lots of extras in my goodie bag this year including foundation, eye shadow, lip liner and a skin illuminator.
We then headed to the ICA bar where we had a very exciting meeting about a Cut Out + Keep book with Harper Collins. Amy was so nice and brought me a cute tote bag and notebook.
We were feeling pretty exhausted afterwards so we headed back to the Mews. We spotted James Corden coming out of Pret.
Tom spotted the closed platform at Charring Cross was re-signed with Embankment, meaning they were probably shooting a film there.
We ordered noodles from Ned's for dinner which were delicious.
