We had breakfast at Cockadoo's which was a really cosy cafe with throw pillows and funny waitresses.
For breakfast, I had sweet potato hash browns which were served with icing sugar and marshmallows (so they looked like eggs in a nest), a poached egg and a biscuit. It was a strange combination but really nice.
We drove over the bridge and crossed the state line in to Arkansas. It turns out that Lady Gaga had recorded different versions of You & Me for each state, so she was singing my cool Tennessee guy as we left.
We then drove through the pretty countryside to Hot Springs, the boyhood home of Bill Clinton.
It was one of America's first holiday destinations and ended up becoming a gambling den in the 50s and 60s. Al Capone even had a room there.
Tom got a shock when he found out that the water in the fountains was actually boiling hot.

We then went to an Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo.
We were given lots of slices of bread and warned not to take it in to the baby goat enclosure or they would all jump on us.
These donkeys were so sweet.
We then got to see the merman which is something I have always wanted to see.
It was then time to see the alligators. They're so still that it's frightening.
