Today was Mel and Dave’s wedding at Ealing Town Hall. This was the first in their three, maybe four, part wedding tour. Today was the official signing of papers but they’re going to have two big UK and Canadian weddings in the summer.
It was a really nice service accompanied by The Beatles, Queen and the song from Juno. I wore my red dress and Tom wore his red tie, so it looked like we had coordinated.
Afterwards we took lots and lots of photos on the stairs. I made them pose a kiss.
I made some confetti by cutting up Tatty Devine tissue paper and it worked really well.
We headed back to their house and Dave cooked up a feast of delicious Mexican food (because they met in Mexico).
Afterwards we went to the pub quiz at The Bollo where we we came 4th. I’m still cross-stitching their present. Tom designed it in Fireworks and it’s taken longer to stitch that I thought.
