This gave us a chance to nip away and do some last minute shopping. I got a jumper that turns in to a strappy top from Ground Control.
After a very long trip, we arrived in Edmonton, where it was raining even worse than it was back in Scotland.
By the time we got back to the station, they had announced that there would be a one-off train leaving shortly after. However, halfway to Glasgow, the driver stopped the train and announced that the track ahead was flooded so we needed to get off the train. After waiting nearly two hours for a bus that was promised , we gave up and took a taxi in to Glasgow, which had to be the most expensive taxi ever.
