We then went to look around the Bemis Centre for Contempory Art, which was one of Orenda's recommendations.
It's a really cool building and only a block away from the lofts.
Tom loved the giant map of Omaha.
I liked the giant rabbit heads.
An artist had painted the sunrise / sunset for 365 days on to copper plates, which filled all four walls of one of the galleries.
They were really pretty.
There were also giant bowls filled with sculptures that resembled brightly coloured cereal everywhere.
We then had a look around Bemis Underground which was a second gallery.
The art was a lot more abstract in this gallery with tented mannequins.
I wanted to buy some pocket art from the Art-O-Matic vending machine but I was all out of fives, so I'll have to go back.
