We then drove to Chena Hot Springs to see the Aurora Ice Museum which originally opened as the first ice hotel before it melted and was rebuilt as a museum.
The museum is kept freezing cold so that the sculptures don't melt and you're given a giant parka to wear as you go in.
The museum was amazing and filled with dozens of intricate sculptures, ice rooms, a fireplace, bar and even a xylophone which Tom played a tune on.
After the tour, we sat at the ice bar and had an appletini served in an ice martini glass.
