Today we went for lunch at The Warrington, a pub owned by Gordon Ramsay which is a few streets away from our house.

There's an expensive restaurant upstairs but you can get lunch downstairs in the bar for a reasonable price.

I got the onion tart and walnut salad, which was delicious and good "research" for the cook-along we're going to do later tonight.

The place is amazing as it use to be an old hotel which they've converted in to a bar.

Afterwards we walked down to Tesco at Clifton Road to get some much needed food shopping and then we went for a drink at the Warrington Hotel. I had an apple and raspberry drink which tasted like sick. There was an actress we recognised in there too but we're not sure what she's in.

Tom’s Aunty and Uncle were down in London this evening, so we went for dinner and the pub quiz at the Warrington.

The fish and chips were really good and wrapped in a lonely heart’s column. We came 4th in the pub quiz after the quizmaster miscalculated the points, so we should have done even better.
