The Torture Chair is part of the collection in 1901. Parts of it are thought to be from the Spanish Inquisition but the chair seems to have been made in the 1800s with some earlier items worked into it. The base is a common work bench where other parts of the devise were genuinely made for torture.

They had an amazing aquarium in the basement. The seahorse bumped in to this fish and it ran away scared. There was a really pretty jellyfish, some tiny eels which were popping out of the sand and cute frogs.

They had an amazing music room filled with thousands of instrument and a selection you could play.
