Today my Mum and Nana took me to the cafe at Baxters.

We had cheesecake and cappuccinos, while I worked on my crochet. A few people asked what I was making and if I had been doing it for long.

There's usually a heard of highland cows in the fields outside the cafe but they were nowhere to be seen this week. I'll have to come back to see them one day.

There was a crazy recipe book for cooking for your cat in the gift shop, which had fancy recipes like raw beef with carrot and meat-free dishes for vegetarian felines.

We drowned our sorrows with soup and the pretty view from the Baxters soup factory.

There was an adorable highland cow munching on grass in the fields at the back. I picked up some cheese knives from the shop before we headed back to Edinburgh.

Dad had come down with a cold and he's always super contagious when he sicks, so avoid Tom and I catching it we met up with Mum and Nana for lunch at Baxters in Kelty.
