We went to see The Thermals at Nice ‘N Sleazy’s in Glasgow tonight. Iain drove us there and back, while we made up some amazingly catchy songs in the back of the car. The support band were called Afterchristmas and they were very strange – playing keyboards, screaming and making other strange noises.

The Thermals were awesome and played all of our favorite songs. My gig photos ended up as colourful blurs but I kind of like them.

We got to meet the band at the end of the gig and they were so friendly and they signed our setlist. We also bumped in to Greg who works in the bar.

My next gig was suppose to be Chicks on Speed but they ended up cancelling it, so I wont be able to get one of their awesome paper dresses

Tonight we headed through to Glasgow to see Maria Taylor at Nice N Sleazy’s. Gregory Williams was working on the bar, which was a complete surprise, so we hung out with him until the gig started.

Maria didn’t get on until really late, so we weren’t sure if we could stay but Greg said we could crash at his place. I’m glad we did because she was really good.

After the gig we got to chat to her and she signed Tom’s Bright Eyes Christmas album.
